As with any carbon-fiber reinforced filament, expect the path ahead to be a touch different from standard PETG. A hardened steel nozzle is recommended to manage the abrasive nature of carbon fibers. Print at a moderate pace to balance surface finish with strength, and be mindful of bed adhesion—use a reliable print surface and consider a brim for larger parts. PETG’s moisture sensitivity means proper storage: keep the spool dry and dry it again if it has absorbed humidity.

Supplier-Specific Shipping Terms
Some products ship directly from our supplier or manufacturer partners and may be subject to supplier-specific shipping rates, handling fees, delivery timelines, minimum order thresholds, or freight requirements. These supplier-specific terms may differ from Hobby Tech Supply’s standard shipping policy and may override general free-shipping offers where applicable.
When a product is subject to supplier-specific shipping terms, the applicable shipping rate or threshold will be based on the supplier’s current fulfillment requirements.
Phrozen Products
Phrozen products ship directly from the supplier. Phrozen orders under $333.34 are subject to a $60 supplier-direct shipping charge. Phrozen orders of $333.34 or more may qualify for free supplier-direct shipping unless otherwise stated.
Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Products
Certain products are classified as hazardous materials (HAZMAT) for transport and require special handling, packaging, and ground-only shipping. A $54.95 HAZMAT shipping and handling charge applies to these items. This charge applies in addition to, and is not waived by, our free shipping offer or any other shipping promotion. HAZMAT items currently include Sunstone Permanent Jewelry argon tanks (compressed gas cylinders). HAZMAT items ship by ground only and cannot be shipped by air or expedited service. The applicable charge is displayed at checkout.
No Hidden Fees:
All shipping costs and sales taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout. There are no hidden fees.
Processing Time:
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Note: Processing time does not include weekends or carrier transit time.
Order Cut-Off Time:
Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST start processing the same day. Please note that shipping timelines depend on each vendor’s schedule, so same-day shipping cannot be guaranteed.
Weekend and Holiday Orders:
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

8.1 Delayed or Lost Packages
Delayed Delivery:
If your package is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us at support@hobbytechsupply.com or (412) 202-4410.
Lost Packages:
If your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please complete the following steps:
Verify the shipping address provided.
Check with neighbors or building management.
Contact us for further assistance.
8.2 Damaged Packages
Before unpacking: Please take clear photos or video of the package, including the outer packaging and all shipping labels and tracking numbers. This evidence is required for damage claims.
Report within 14 days: Contact us at support@hobbytechsupply.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the damage, and your photos or video.
Resolution: Damaged products are replaced, and pickup of the damaged item is arranged at no cost to you. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund.
Note: Replacements will NOT be authorized if damage is caused by customer misuse or improper setup.
Report within 14 days: Contact us within 14 days of receiving your package with your order number and details of the missing item(s). Refunds will NOT be authorized if missing items are reported late.
Resolution: We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly by sending the missing item(s) or offering a refund for them.
Free cancellation: Orders may be canceled free of charge within 24 hours of purchase, as long as the order has not shipped. Intercepting a shipped order or refusing delivery carries a 7% service fee.
Returns for any reason: Undamaged products may be returned within 15 days of delivery, with prior approval, all accessories, and the original packaging and protective materials.
Service fees: 7% for unopened items, 20% for opened but unused items, and 30% for used items, deducted from the refund.
Return shipping: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility on returns for any reason. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items reported within 14 days are picked up at no cost to you. On returns of orders that shipped free, the actual outbound shipping cost we paid may also be deducted.
Defects and damage: Defects and shipping damage reported within 14 days of delivery are replaced. After 14 days, the manufacturer's warranty on the product page applies.
Non-returnable: Consumables, separately purchased materials, and filters.
Supplier terms: Where a supplier's terms are stricter than ours, the supplier's terms apply. See Section 9 of our Return and Refund Policy.
Refunds: Refunds are typically processed within 12 business days after the returned item is received and inspected, and are issued to the original payment method. For supplier-fulfilled items, the refund is issued after the supplier completes its evaluation and issues its credit.

Please ensure that all shipping information is correct. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
