The professional-level Celestron LCD Digital Microscope II is a biological LCD microscope at an affordable price. With fully achromatic lens objectives, a mechanical stage, 3.5” full color TFT screen and 5MP CMOS sensor, the LCD Digital Microscope II allows for high-resolution imaging of specimen slides. The microscope even includes a 2GB SD card, enough storage to capture over 600 high-resolution images for lab reports, papers, lesson, and more.

From 40x magnification up to 1600x with digital zoom, the LCD Digital Microscope II is ideal for viewing a range of cellular specimens on slides, like most traditional microscopes.       • The free shipping threshold applies to the subtotal after discounts and before taxes.

    • Expedited Shipping: Calculated based on item weight and priority selection (FedEx)

    • Flat Rate Shipping: $5 flat rate for orders under $100.

4. Order Processing Time

8. Delivery Issues

8.1 Delayed or Lost Packages

  • Lost Packages:

    • If your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please complete the following steps:

      • Verify the shipping address provided.

      • Check with neighbors or building management.

      • Contact us for further assistance.

        • We may also ask you to file a missing package claim with the carrier so we can proceed with a replacement or resolution.

8.2 Damaged Packages

  • Reporting Shipment Damage:

    • If your package arrives damaged:  

      • Contact us within 7 days at support@hobbytechsupply.com.

      • Note: Returns will NOT be authorized if damage is caused by customer misuse or improper setup.

    • Take photos of the damaged packaging and items.

  • Resolution:

    • We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

9. Missing or Incomplete Items

  • Reporting Missing Items:

    • If any items are missing from your order:

      • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your package.

      • Provide your order number and details of the missing item(s).

      • Note: refunds will NOT be authorized if missing items are reported late.

    • Items must be unused, undamaged, with all components present, and in their original packaging.

Celestron Warranty Overview

Celestron products come with either a 2-Year Limited Warranty or a Limited Lifetime Warranty, depending on the model. You can confirm which applies by checking the product page on Celestron’s website.

These warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship on new products purchased from authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

2-Year Limited Warranty (Most Products)

What’s covered:


  • Defects in materials or workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date.

  • Celestron will repair or replace the product after inspection.

What’s not covered:


  • Damage from misuse, drops, modifications, or unauthorized repairs

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Used products or items purchased from unauthorized sellers

  • International purchases outside the intended region

  • Optical coatings may naturally show minor blemishes over time

  • Collimation/optical alignment issues must be claimed within 30 days

  • Loss or accidental damage is not covered

What Celestron Will Do
