Designed specifically to preserve your night vision, and powered by a long-lasting LED, this headlamp provides the perfect amount red-light illumination, ensuring comfortable stargazing sessions where you can see more detail in celestial objects by preserving your dark-adapted vision.

Using the Night Vision Red Headlamp is simple and intuitive.  First, install (2) AAA batteries, and then adjust the headlamp strap for a comfortable and secure fit, so it sits snugly on your head. Next, adjust the lamp’s pointing position up to 45° to direct the light exactly where you need it. Depending on the task at hand, the headlamp is equipped with two red brightness levels, a blinking light, and an SOS setting. You can walk around your observing site, read star charts, or even grab that eyepiece you left in your gear bag, all while preserving your night vision.

Rigorously tested to ensure reliability and longevity, the Celestron Night Vision Red Headlamp provides up to 100 hours of continuous illumination, when set to the low brightness setting.     • Expedited Shipping: Calculated based on item weight and priority selection (FedEx)

    • Flat Rate Shipping: $5 flat rate for orders under $100.

4. Order Processing Time

8.1 Delayed or Lost Packages

  • Lost Packages:

    • If your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please complete the following steps:

      • Verify the shipping address provided.

      • Check with neighbors or building management.

      • Contact us for further assistance.

        • We may also ask you to file a missing package claim with the carrier so we can proceed with a replacement or resolution.

8.2 Damaged Packages

  • Reporting Shipment Damage:

      • Note: Returns will NOT be authorized if damage is caused by customer misuse or improper setup.

    • Take photos of the damaged packaging and items.

    • We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

9. Missing or Incomplete Items

Celestron Warranty Overview

Celestron products come with either a 2-Year Limited Warranty or a Limited Lifetime Warranty, depending on the model. You can confirm which applies by checking the product page on Celestron’s website.

These warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship on new products purchased from authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

2-Year Limited Warranty (Most Products)

What’s covered:


  • Defects in materials or workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date.

  • Celestron will repair or replace the product after inspection.

What’s not covered:


  • Damage from misuse, drops, modifications, or unauthorized repairs

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Used products or items purchased from unauthorized sellers

  • International purchases outside the intended region
