This bundle is compact and lightweight, ideal for carrying along on a backpacking trip, a casual hike, or a birding expedition. You’ll be able to quickly set up this spotting scope and attach the smartphone adapter to capture stunning images and video of your subject.

Digiscoping is Easy with the Celestron Smartphone Adapter

Share your greatest discoveries with friends and family by pairing the LandScout spotting scope with the included smartphone adapter. This accessory connects any smartphone to the LandScout eyepiece (or any other eyepiece with an outside diameter of 45mm or smaller, such as a binocular or telescope eyepiece).

The eyepiece’s magnification bumps up the image scale, so you can capture stunning images of wildlife, distant objects, and even the Moon at night! This light, rigid smartphone adapter installs in seconds by clamping over the top of the eyepiece. Tightening knobs securely lock your phone in place. Note that some large and/or excessively bulky phone cases (including folio style cases) may need to be removed for the phone to fit in the adapter.

The LandScout 80mm spotting scope features a 45° viewing angle, excellent fully multi-coated optics, and a versatile 20-60x zoom eyepiece. The 45° viewing angle provides comfort for extended periods of observing. The LandScout fully coated optics increase LandScout’s light transmission for brighter, sharper images. Finally, the adjustable zoom allows you choose from a wide field of view for general viewing or high power for detailed, up-close viewing. Perfect for a Variety of Uses

LandScout comes with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece. Use the lower magnifications to scan the landscape, then quickly punch in for up-close views of small subjects when needed. The large, ergonomic focus knob ensures your object is always in clear view. Both the zoom and focus knobs come with a rubber grip for easy adjustments while wearing gloves. LandScout was designed to perform well in a range of viewing situations, making it a great all-around optical instrument.

Ways to Observe

LandScout features a rugged, durable construction to stand up to minor bumps and jolts. The scope is also water resistant, so you can use it confidently in damp or humid conditions. For more comfortable long-duration or long-distance viewing sessions, you can mount the LandScout to the tabletop tripod. Celestron products come with either a 2-Year Limited Warranty or a Limited Lifetime Warranty, depending on the model. You can confirm which applies by checking the product page on Celestron’s website.

These warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship on new products purchased from authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

2-Year Limited Warranty (Most Products)
