You can further increase heat resistance and impact toughness by annealing your Tough Pro PLA+ prints. This post-processing step can yield the strongest, most durable parts, especially for components that face repeated thermal cycling or high ambient temperatures. Keep in mind that parts may shrink about 1–2% during annealing and should be tightly constrained in gypsum or salt flour to minimize warping and maintain dimensional accuracy. If you need peak performance, anneal the furthest-from-the-nozzle sections of your print while monitoring movement and fixtures carefully.
